Referee Simon, however, withdrew in the face of protests, despite a late penalty against Mohammedan.
Meanwhile, the country’s top referees decided to go on strike two days ago demanding the removal of former FIFA referee Azad Rahman from the post of BFF’s head of referee. However, due to the intervention of the President of Bangladesh Referees Association, they have postponed the strike for the time being. Today the match was without any problem. However, Kings’ gallery became restless during the match due to a fight between the two sides of the local spectators.
