Salma of Bangladesh in the best XI of the World Cup

Bangladeshi all-rounder Salma Khatun has been named in the ICC XI Women’s Cricket World Cup XI. The XI is made up of some of the most valuable players in the 2022 World Cup, with Australia now captained by Mag Lenning.

This team has been selected by the ICC panel. Headed by Chris Tetley. Also on the panel were commentators Lisa Stelker, Nasser Hussein and Natalie Garmanos, and journalists Alok Gupta and Christy Howell.

 

Four world-winning Australian cricketers have been named in the squad for the tournament, along with Alyssa Healy. The wicketkeeper scored two centuries in the knockout with an innings of 180 runs in this batter final.

Lenning’s co-captain is his compatriot Rachel Haynes. He was the second highest run-getter in the tournament (498). Another Australian is Beth Mooney.

Eleven South Africans – Laura Wolvert, Marijan Cap and Shabnim Ismail – are in the XI. There are two from England নেট Net Skyver and Shopy Ecclestone. There is one Haley Mathews from West Indies.

No one from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka or New Zealand got the chance. Salma Khatun is the only representative from Bangladesh to get a place in the XI. Offspinning has taken 10 wickets in this all-rounder tournament.
