Mostafiz’s new fielding coach in IPL

Mostafizur Rahman will play for Delhi Capitals in this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL). The team has appointed a new fielding coach for the upcoming season. Biju George is joining the Delhi camp this time as the successor of former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif.

Until last season, Kaif was in charge of the Delhi fielders. The team has prepared a quality coaching team for this competition which will start from March 26. He is accompanied by head coach Ricky Ponting, two other Australian all-rounders Shane Watson, James Hopes and two former Indian cricketers Ajit Agarkar and Praveen Amre.

A franchise promoter has confirmed the news of a deal with the new fielding coach, “We have picked him for this season and he is bringing a few years of good experience in both IPL and international cricket.”

Biju is a former fielding coach of the Indian women’s national team. He has worked with the team’s coach Tushar Arothe, WV Raman and Ramesh Power. He was also in the coaching team of Kolkata Knight Riders in 2015 and 2016. He also worked for Sunrisers Hyderabad for one year in 2020. He was also in charge of coaching the Kuwait national team.

Delhi will take part in the competition under the leadership of Rishabh Pant. The team will meet in Mumbai on March 10. The captain will join the camp later. Delhi will play its first match against Mumbai Indians on March 26.
