For the first time in his career, Taskin won the match and the series

Taskin Ahmed took 5 wickets for just 26 runs on his way to bowling out India for 105 in his ODI debut. However, the young right-handed pacer could not leave the field with a smile on his face or a matchmaker award. Because in that match of 2014, Bangladesh team was reduced to 56 runs.

Despite not winning that day eight years ago, the batsmen made no mistake in today’s (Wednesday) series-deciding match against South Africa. Thanks to which, the Tigers left the field with the victory after the second phipper of Taskin’s career. The main protagonist of the victory is 26-year-old Taskin.

Taskin took five wickets for just 35 runs, crushing the South African batting line-up alone. Thanks to which he got the award of today’s matchmaker. Not only that, he also won the series award for taking three wickets in the first match.

In the first match of the series at Centurion’s Super Sport Park, Taskin took 3 wickets for just 36 runs. He brought a breakthrough just when needed in Bangladesh’s 36-run victory. So Taskin was a strong contender for the Matchsera award.

But on that day Shakib Al Hasan got the award of Matchsera as he qualified for the most effective innings of 6 runs off 64 balls with the bat. Today Shakib took 2 wickets for 24 runs with the ball. Captain Tamim Iqbal played the match winning innings.

But Taskin, the second Phiffer of his career, has surpassed everyone. That is why he has won not only the ODI career, but also the first match of the entire international career. Besides, Taskin won the series award for the first time in his career.
